What we collect

We store registration email, password hash when password login is used, subscription status, trading-account labels, normalized trades, journal notes, tags, screenshots, import diagnostics, support requests, and limited security/audit logs. If you choose Google sign-in, we store Google’s stable account identifier and verified email address; we do not request access to Gmail messages, contacts, or files. The CSV-only MVP does not collect broker credentials. Payment details stay with the hosted payment processor.

Why we use it

We process this information to authenticate you, provide private reports and exports, prevent duplicate imports, support you, secure the service, manage subscriptions, and satisfy legal obligations.

Storage and retention

Application data is stored on the configured server and encrypted backups are stored separately. Uploaded CSV contents are parsed in memory and discarded; normalized records and limited diagnostics remain. Screenshots are stored behind authorization. Security, backup, and billing records are retained only as reasonably necessary or legally required.

Sharing

We do not sell trade data. Infrastructure, monitoring, email, storage, identity, and payment providers may process the minimum information necessary under their terms. We may disclose records when legally required or to protect users and the service.

Your controls

You can export trade history, edit journal data, delete screenshots, and request account deletion from Settings. We will delete or anonymize service data after verification, while retaining records the law requires.

Security and contact

We use tenant-scoped authorization, password hashing, HTTPS in production, upload restrictions, backups, and access logs. No online service is risk-free. Privacy requests: support@sharpertrade.com.
